Software Architect

We are looking for a Software Architect to define scalable, secure and reliable architecture for our AI-powered platform. The role involves working closely with the CTO, Product and Engineering teams, providing technical direction, mentoring engineers and driving architecture from design to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technology and architecture roadmap.
• Design scalable, modular and cloud-native applications and microservices.
• Lead system design, API strategy, data flow and architecture reviews.
• Establish engineering standards, design patterns and best practices.
• Mentor developers and conduct design/code reviews.
• Drive technical planning, estimation and delivery.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, Infrastructure and AI teams.
• Support performance optimization, scalability, observability and production issues.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in software engineering, system design and architecture.
• Strong expertise in Node.js, Express.js/Hapi.js and microservices.
• Experience with REST APIs, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Redis and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, React and Redux.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and AWS/Azure.
• Good understanding of CI/CD, TDD/BDD and automated testing.
• Experience with Kafka, GraphQL or serverless architectures is a plus.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, leadership and mentoring skills.
