Job Summary

Principal Engineer (.NET Azure) Experience: 10+ Years

Role Summary Lead the design and delivery of scalable, cloud-native applications. Provide architecture guidance, technical leadership, hands-on engineering support, and mentor teams to drive engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and design enterprise applications using .NET Core, Microservices, and Azure.
• Define and enforce architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices.
• Lead technical design reviews, POCs, and solutioning discussions.
• Guide development teams and help resolve complex technical challenges.
• Drive application reliability, performance, observability, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders for successful delivery.
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of ownership, quality, and continuous improvement.

Mandatory Skills

• .NET Core / C#
• Microservices Architecture
• Azure Services: App Services, Service Bus, Durable Functions, Event Grid, Logic Apps, Function Apps
• SQL Server
• Application Design Architecture
• Design Patterns, SOLID Principles, Distributed Systems
• REST APIs, Event-Driven Architecture
• Observability using Dynatrace or equivalent APM tools
• Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support skills

Good to Have Skills

• NoSQL Databases (Cosmos DB, MongoDB, etc.)
• Azure DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines
• Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
