A SOC (Security Operations Center) Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a SOC and ensuring the security of the organization's systems and data. 1. Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the SOC, including monitoring and analyzing security alerts, incidents, and events. 2. Developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the organization's security posture. 3. Managing and maintaining security technologies, such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and firewalls. 4. Developing and implementing incident response plans and procedures. 5. Providing technical guidance and support to SOC analysts and other security team members.
