SOC Analyst - L1

Position: Security Analyst L1
Location: Mumbai
Experience: 2 to 3 Years

We are looking for a Security Analyst (L1) with hands-on experience in Security Operations Center (SOC) environments to join our team in Mumbai.

Key Requirements

• 2 to 3 years of proven experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC).
  
• Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar), Antivirus/EDR, and Firewalls.
  
• Experience with SentinelOne Endpoint Detection & Response for incident investigation or other similar EDR tools.
  
• Strong understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and modern threat actor behaviors.
  
• Knowledge of EDR evasion techniques, lateral movement, privilege escalation, and persistence mechanisms.
  
• Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and VPNs.
  
• Familiarity with log analysis, threat detection, and common attack vectors (phishing, malware, etc.).
  
• Solid understanding of fundamental cybersecurity concepts, including network security and endpoint security.
  
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze security alerts and incidents.
  
• Perform log analysis and threat detection.
  
• Handle incident reporting, coordination, and escalation as required.
  
• Maintain documentation and technical/service trackers as per agreed SLAs.
  
• Support the SOC team in identifying and mitigating security threats.
  

Additional Requirements

• Completion of any relevant technical workshop or cybersecurity certification/course is preferred.
  
• Immediate joiners preferred.
  
• Candidates must be based in Mumbai.
