Job Title: Associate Information Security Specialist (Junior SOC Analyst)

Job Summary

We are looking for an Associate Information Security Specialist (Junior SOC Analyst) to monitor, analyze, and respond to security events and alerts across the organization's IT environment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with SIEM tools, incident triage, and cybersecurity monitoring processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events and alerts from SIEM platforms.
• Review, triage, and investigate security incidents.
• Execute response activities as per SOC playbooks.
• Fine-tune detection rules to reduce false positives.
• Create and maintain security monitoring rules aligned with the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Escalate potential security incidents to senior teams.
• Maintain security tools and ensure SOC operational excellence.
• Collaborate with IT and Engineering teams to improve visibility and detection coverage.
• Prepare monthly security monitoring reports and documentation.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices.
