Snowflake with Azure Data Engineer

Must-Have

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF), including building complex ETL/ELT workflows to support data ingestion from diverse sources into the platform
• Architect and manage Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) solutions, including defining folder hierarchies, access control policies, and lifecycle management strategies aligned with data governance standards
• Develop and deploy Azure Functions to support event-driven data processing, lightweight transformations, and integration tasks across platform components
• Build and manage Snowflake data tasks and streams, including snowflake objects and DBT models migration from dev to prod via CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement and support Azure IoT Edge and Azure IoT Hub solutions for device-to-cloud data ingestion, managing module deployments, message routing, and telemetry pipelines
• Collaborate with engineering and business teams to ensure end-to-end data flows from edge devices through cloud landing zones and into the analytical layer, maintaining reliability and low latency
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize platform components across Azure services, ensuring high availability, cost efficiency, and performance at scale
• Define and enforce data platform standards including naming conventions, metadata management, data quality frameworks, and integration patterns across all connected systems
• Support the integration of the data platform with analytics and AI/ML solutions, enabling self-service access to curated data assets for business and technical consumers
• Contribute to platform documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to ensure maintainability and scalability of the data platform across teams
