Exp- 5+ years
Must Have:
1. Expertise in Snowflake - ELT using Snowflake SQL, implementing complex stored Procedures and build data pipelines using DBT(Data Build Tool)
2. Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities, SnowSQL, DBT
Good to have:
1. Exposure to job scheduling/monitoring environments(Eg. Control-M) 2. Any Big data tools Hadoop, Spark. 3. Cloud migration experience
Responsibilities:
1 . Work with Snowflake advanced concepts like setting up resource monitors, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse sizing, query performance tuning, Zero copy clone and understand how to use these features
2 . Ability to provide resolution to an extensive range of complicated data pipeline related problems using DBT
3. Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management
4. Ability to drive end to end implementation of Snowflake cloud data warehouse and migrate/transform on-premise DW on any ETL platform to Snowflake Cloud with DBT
5 . Expertise in deploying Snowflake features such as data sharing to enable data consumption from Cloud
6 . Review the architectural/ technological solutions for ongoing projects and work with required tech leads to adopt to the data migration strategies and share best practices.
