Role & responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Data Modelling Specialist with 68 years of experience in data architecture, enterprise data modelling, and data warehouse design. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Data Modelling concepts, Snowflake, Data Vault methodology, and ERwin. The role involves designing scalable data models, supporting data warehouse initiatives, and enabling data-driven solutions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business and analytical requirements.
- Create enterprise-level data models using industry-standard modelling techniques.
- Develop and maintain Data Vault models for scalable and flexible data warehouse architectures.
- Work with Snowflake data platforms to support data modelling, warehouse design, and analytics solutions.
- Use ERwin or similar data modelling tools for creating and maintaining data model documentation.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective data structures and solutions.
- Collaborate with data engineers, architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data consistency and quality.
- Define data entities, relationships, attributes, and metadata standards.
- Support data governance, data quality, and enterprise data management initiatives.
- Review existing data models and recommend improvements for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
