Snowflake Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Snowflake development, SQL, ETL tools, and Python/PySpark, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake and ETL tools.
• Build and optimize data models, stored procedures, views, and Snowflake objects.
• Develop scalable ETL/ELT workflows for data ingestion and transformation.
• Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Use Python/PySpark to process large datasets and automate data engineering tasks.
• Optimize query performance and ensure efficient data processing.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and engineering teams to deliver data solutions.
• Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Follow best practices for coding, testing, deployment, and documentation.

Required Skills

• 710 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Development.
• Excellent SQL skills with experience in query optimization.
• Experience with any ETL tool (Informatica, Talend, Matillion, DataStage, SSIS, etc.).
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or PySpark.
• Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT architecture.
• Experience in performance tuning and data pipeline optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Exposure to workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and version control (Git) is an added advantage.
