Snowflake Data Engineer (DBT)

We are looking for a skilled Snowflake Data Engineer with 2-5 years of experience in Snowflake, DBT, SQL, and Data Warehousing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in building scalable cloud-based data solutions, designing ETL/ELT pipelines, and optimizing data processing for analytics and reporting requirements.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Snowflake.
• Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using DBT and Snowflake.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, transformations, and data models.
• Design and implement Data Warehouse and Data Mart solutions.
• Create reusable DBT models, macros, and testing frameworks.
• Perform data integration, validation, and quality checks.
• Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance and query efficiency.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand data requirements.
• Ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines and reporting.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 2-5 years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Warehousing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Mandatory experience with DBT (Data Build Tool).
• Excellent SQL programming and query optimization skills.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Data Modeling and Data Warehousing concepts.
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Python is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
