Job Description
The SMT / FATP Lead is responsible for overseeing LX sustaining and NPI activities for the FATP function. This role ensures effective execution of manufacturing and testing processes across assigned FATP programs, including Buds L/R and Case, in alignment with projected scope of work and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage LX sustaining activities for FATP programs, ensuring operational stability and continuous improvement.
Oversee New Product Introduction (NPI) activities for FATP, including Buds L/R and Case, from planning through execution.
Act as the single point of contact for SMT and FATP-related deliverables across cross-functional teams.
Drive process readiness, risk mitigation, and issue resolution during NPI and sustaining phases.
Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Program Management, and Engineering teams to ensure on-time and successful deliverables.
Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective and preventive actions as required.
Ensure compliance with internal standards, quality requirements, and project timelines.
Qualifications & Skills
Strong experience in SMT and FATP operations, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to lead NPI and sustaining programs.
Excellent cross-functional coordination and stakeholder management skills.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities.
Reporting Structure
Reports to the respective Manufacturing / Operations Manager.
