Site Reliability Engineer (Azure) - S

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Monitor application and infrastructure health, performance, and availability using modern observability tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational processes.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable application deployments.
• Establish reliability standards, Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Lead incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and post-incident reviews.
• Implement proactive monitoring, alerting, and capacity planning strategies.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, security, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with development, architecture, security, and operations teams to improve system reliability.
• Implement disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity solutions.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads in Azure environments.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security and governance standards.
• Create operational runbooks, documentation, and knowledge-sharing materials.
• Participate in on-call support and production support activities as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Operations, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong expertise with Azure services such as:
• Azure Virtual Machines
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Azure App Services
• Azure Functions
• Azure Monitor
• Log Analytics
• Azure Application Insights
• Azure Storage Accounts
• Azure Networking
• Azure Load Balancer
• Azure Key Vault
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
• Terraform
• ARM Templates
• Bicep
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies:
• Docker
• Kubernetes
• Helm
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using:
• Azure DevOps
• GitHub Actions
• Jenkins
• Strong scripting skills in:
• PowerShell
• Python
• Bash
• Experience with Linux and Windows administration.
• Knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, Load Balancing, and Firewall configurations.
• Experience with monitoring and observability platforms.
