Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom Shopify themes

and storefronts aligned with brand guidelines and business objectives. • Build and customize Shopify stores using Liquid templating, ensuring responsive, mobile-first, and accessibility-friendly designs.

• Develop and integrate custom Shopify apps to extend store functionality and automate workflows.

• Integrate and manage Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, Webhooks, and Metafields for seamless backend and third party integrations.

• Implement custom features, pricing logic, discounts, cart rules, and checkout flows (Shopify Plus preferred).

• Optimize Shopify themes for performance, speed, scalability, SEO, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, marketing, and QA teams to deliver high-quality eCommerce experiences.

• Ensure adherence to code quality standards, version control, CI/CD workflows, and deployment best practices.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing Shopify stores, apps, and integrations.

• Support store setup, payments, shipping configurations, and post-deployment maintenance.

Technical Skills & Tools

• Shopify Platform, including Shopify Plus (preferred).

• Liquid templating language.

• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.

• AJAX, JSON.

• Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, Webhooks, Metafields.

• Custom Shopify App Development.

• Checkout Customization & Payment Gateway Integration.

• Theme performance optimization and CRO best practices.

• Version Control: Git, GitHub, Bitbucket.

Experience & Qualifications

• 4y and above in Shopify development.

• Strong expertise in Liquid and Shopify theme customization.

• Solid understanding of frontend technologies and modern JavaScript practices.

• Proven experience working with Shopify APIs, Webhooks, and third-party integrations.

• Hands-on experience in custom Shopify app development.

• Understanding of Shopify store setup, payments, shipping, and checkout workflows.

• Experience optimizing Shopify stores for performance, scalability, and conversions.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

• Experience working with D2C, content-led, or influencer-driven brands.

• Exposure to A/B testing, CRO tools, and analytics-driven UI enhancements.

• Familiarity with SEO best practices for Shopify stores.

• Knowledge of headless commerce or advanced Shopify Plus features.
