Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Shopify Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Shopify development, theme customization, integrations, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing Shopify development activities and supporting both DTC and B2B eCommerce requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance Shopify storefronts, including pages, products, collections, and customer-facing functionality.
- Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Build and maintain custom sections, templates, blocks, and metafields for marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotions.
- Develop and maintain Shopify API integrations using REST/GraphQL APIs and webhooks.
- Integrate, configure, and troubleshoot third-party Shopify apps and integrations.
- Support Shopify development requirements for DTC and B2B/pro portal.
- Implement Shopify functionality using Shopify Functions and Checkout Extensibility.
- Troubleshoot and resolve storefront, theme, app, checkout, and integration-related issues.
- Optimize website performance, Core Web Vitals, page speed, and mobile responsiveness.
- Manage product data, including products, variants, collections, tags, and metafields.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Operations teams to implement landing pages, promotions, and storefront updates.
- Follow development best practices including Git/version control, testing, documentation, and production deployment.
- Ensure changes are thoroughly tested across desktop, mobile, and major browsers before production deployment.
Mandatory Skills
- 5–8 years of hands-on Shopify development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Strong experience in Shopify theme customization and custom section development.
- Hands-on experience with Shopify REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations.
- Strong understanding of Shopify Admin, products, collections, variants, metafields, discounts, and customer data.
- Experience with Shopify Functions and Checkout Extensibility.
- Experience troubleshooting Shopify themes, apps, integrations, checkout, and storefront issues.
- Strong knowledge of website performance optimization, Core Web Vitals, and responsive design.
- Experience with Git/version control, debugging, testing, and deployment.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of Shopify development activities.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work Monday–Friday, 9:00 PM–3:00 AM \
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Shopify Plus or Shopify B2B.
- Experience with subscription/recurring purchase integrations.
- Experience with custom Shopify app development.
- Knowledge of Node.js or React.
- Experience integrating Shopify with ERP, CRM, payment, marketing, or analytics platforms.
