Job Description

Job Title: SharePoint Framework (SPFx) Developer - Power Platform

Location: Pan India

Role Summary

We are looking for developer who can build custom SPFx solutions on SharePoint Online and extend them with Power Platform. This is a hands-on development role supporting M365 modernization and custom app delivery across our client accounts. You will work closely with functional leads and L2/L3 support teams to design, build, and maintain solutions that run in production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop SPFx web parts, extensions (application customizers, field customizers, command sets), and Adaptive Card Extensions using React and TypeScript.
  • Build and customize Power Apps (canvas and model-driven) and automate business processes with Power Automate cloud and desktop flows.
  • Integrate solutions with Microsoft Graph, SharePoint REST/CSOM, and third-party APIs, handling authentication through Entra ID app registrations and appropriate permission scopes.
  • Package and deploy solutions through the SharePoint App Catalog and manage ALM using PnP, gulp, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Work with Dataverse for data modelling, security roles, and business rules where model-driven apps are in scope.
  • Support and troubleshoot existing SPFx and Power Platform solutions in production as part of L2/L3 engagements.
  • Follow governance, security, and coding standards, and produce technical documentation for the solutions delivered.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong SPFx development experience with React, TypeScript, and the Node/gulp toolchain.
  • Solid grounding in SharePoint Online, including site architecture, lists/libraries, permissions, and the PnP framework (PnPjs and PnP PowerShell).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Graph and SharePoint REST APIs.
  • Power Platform development: Power Apps (canvas at minimum), Power Automate, and connectors.
  • Familiarity with Entra ID app registrations, OAuth, and permission consent models.
  • Version control with Git.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Model-driven apps and Dataverse experience.
  • Power Pages, Power BI, or Copilot Studio exposure.
  • PowerShell scripting for M365 administration.
  • SharePoint on-premises (2019/SPSE) background for hybrid scenarios.
  • Awareness of ALM Accelerator or managed solutions for Power Platform.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Typically 3 to 6 years for a mid-level hire; adjust the band to your requirement.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (PL-900, PL-400, MS-600) are an advantage.

Soft Skills

  • Clear communication with functional and client stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in a delivery and support model, and to document what they build.
