Key Responsibilities:

ServiceNow Development & Customization

• Design and develop custom applications, modules, UI policies, client scripts, business rules, and workflow automations within ServiceNow.
• Customize ServiceNow forms, tables, ACLs, and catalogue items to meet business requirements.
• Build and maintain Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and custom spokes.
• Implement best practices for configuration management, version control, and platform governance.

SAP Integration

• Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and SAP (ECC/S4HANA) using:

REST/SOAP APIs

SAP PI/PO or CPI

IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs

Integration Hub or custom middleware

• Ensure secure, reliable data exchange between ServiceNow and SAP master data, transactional data, and workflow processes.
• Troubleshoot integration issues, monitor logs, and optimize performance.

Workflow Automation & Process Engineering

• Translate business requirements into scalable ServiceNow workflows.
• Automate end-to-end processes such as:

o Vendor onboarding

o Purchase requisition workflows

o Asset lifecycle

o HR and IT service processes

• Collaborate with SAP functional teams to align data models, validation rules, and approval flows.

Governance, Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain detailed technical documentation, data mapping, and integration specifications.
• Ensure solutions comply with audit, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Support CAB processes, release management, and change control.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with SAP teams, business analysts, architects, and process owners.
• Participate in requirement workshops, design reviews, and UAT cycles.
• Provide technical guidance and best practices to internal teams.

Preferred candidate profile

• 4 to 8+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong knowledge of:

o ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and custom applications

o JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, Integration Hub

o ServiceNow data model and ACL security

• Proven experience integrating ServiceNow with SAP using APIs, IDocs, or middleware.
• Understanding of SAP modules such as MM, FI, HR, or Vendor Management (depending on the organization).

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

• Experience with SAP PI/PO, CPI, or other integration platforms

• Knowledge of ITIL processes and frameworks

• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery
