ServiceNow Development And Tester

• We are seeking a ServiceNow Engineer with strong expertise in QA automation and ServiceNow development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing, automation frameworks, scripting, and platform development across ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, Event Management, Service Portal, and enterprise integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and design effective test strategies, test cases, and automation scenarios.
• Perform manual, regression, integration, API, and automated testing for ServiceNow applications and integrations.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using ATF, Selenium, and related tools.
• Identify, track, and resolve defects through effective root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and business analysts throughout the SDLC.
• Contribute to ServiceNow configuration, scripting, workflows, and integration development.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure application quality, scalability, and adherence to best practices.
  

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of software testing/development experience, including 2+ years in ServiceNow.
• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform modules such as ITSM, ITOM, and Service Catalog.
• Hands-on experience with ATF, Selenium, API testing, Postman, or SOAP UI.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, client scripts, business rules, UI policies, and Flow Designer.
• Experience with JIRA, HP ALM, and Agile delivery methodologies.
• ServiceNow CSA certification required.
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ServiceNow development lifecycle and update set migrations.
• Exposure to offshore/onshore delivery models and global team collaboration.
• Additional certifications such as CAD and ITIL v3/v4 are preferred.
