Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior ServiceNow Developer with approximately 8 years of hands-on experience in implementing and consulting on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional and technical expertise across various ServiceNow modules, including a strong emphasis on ITOM (Discovery, Event Management), CSM, and ITSM. This role requires a proactive individual capable of leading development efforts, providing expert consultation, designing robust solutions, and driving the successful implementation of the ServiceNow roadmap in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:

. Design, develop, and implement solutions across the ServiceNow platform, with a primary focus on ITOM (Discovery, CMDB, CSDM, Event Management) and Customer Service Management (CSM).
. Lead requirement-gathering sessions with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
. Configure and customize core ITSM applications (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog) and CSM modules.
. Manage the full lifecycle of CMDB implementation, including data modeling based on the CSDM framework, attribute mapping, transform maps, and reconciliation rules.
. Implement, troubleshoot, and customize ITOM Discovery for both on-premise and cloud environments, including working with patterns and MID servers.
. Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems using REST API, IntegrationHub, and other relevant technologies (e.g., Jira, monitoring tools).
. Provide technical consultation on platform best practices, CSDM, and CMDB data governance.
. Develop custom portals, catalog items, record producers, and complex workflows using Flow Designer.
. Participate in all phases of the Agile development lifecycle, including sprint planning, execution, and reviews.
. Assist in platform upgrades, analyze skipped logs, and perform bug fixes as required.

Required Skills and Experience:

. Overall Experience: 8+ years as a ServiceNow Developer, Consultant, or Implementation Specialist.
. Expert-Level Skills: ServiceNow ITOM: Proven experience with Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, CMDB, and CSDM implementation. ServiceNow CSM: Demonstrable experience in designing and configuring the CSM module, including data models and portal development.
. Advanced Skills: ServiceNow ITSM: In-depth knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Catalog. Integrations: Hands-on experience with REST API integrations, both inbound and outbound. Platform Development: Strong scripting skills in JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, and Glide APIs.
. Technical Proficiency: Experience with Flow Designer, UI policies, UI Actions, and notifications. Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
. Certifications (Highly Desired): ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist Discovery ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Event Management ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Customer Service Management ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
. Methodologies: Strong understanding of ITIL principles and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
