What we are looking for

Role: ServiceNow Developer (ITOM, CMDB)

Experience Range: 5 to 12 Years

Location: Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad

Must Have:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom Service Catalog items, including complex forms, variables, and UI policies.
• Implement automation and scripting to enhance the user experience and ensure seamless end-user interactions.
• Develop approval workflows and catalog item workflows for service requests.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored service catalog solutions.
• Design and configure Event Management to process, manage, and correlate events from various sources.
• Develop rules to categorize, prioritize, and trigger appropriate actions based on incoming events.
• Implement event monitoring and alerting capabilities to ensure proactive incident management.
• Integrate third-party monitoring tools with ServiceNow Event Management as required.
• Implement and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring proper mapping and relationships between Configuration Items (CIs).
• Design and implement processes for effective CI lifecycle management, including discovery, monitoring, and updates.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor CMDB health and compliance.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure CMDB data accuracy and completeness.
• Develop and manage complex workflows using ServiceNow Workflow Editor.
• Design and configure Flow Designer flows to automate tasks, approvals, and integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate business processes and ensure efficient workflow execution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing workflows and flows.

Good to Have:

• Write and maintain custom scripts (Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Scripts, etc.) to meet business requirements.
• Leverage ServiceNow best practices for security, performance, and scalability.
• Integrate ServiceNow with third-party applications using REST, SOAP, and other integration technologies.
• Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and ensure that technical solutions align with business objectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow-related issues across various modules and environments.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in relevant modules is highly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Service Catalog development, including creating and customizing catalog items, workflows, and approvals.
• Expertise in Event Management, including event correlation, alerting, and integrating with monitoring systems.
• Strong experience with Flow Designer for process automation.
• Deep understanding of Configuration Management and CMDB best practices.

• Knowledge of ServiceNow Performance Analytics and reporting capabilities.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.

Essential:

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required.

Minimum Qualification:

• 15 years of full-time education
