Role Overview
ServiceNow SPM Architect to lead the architecture, design, implementation, and governance of ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) solutions for large enterprise customers. The ideal candidate will drive portfolio transformation initiatives, financial governance, demand management, and value realization while serving as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders.The role requires deep expertise in ServiceNow SPM/PPM, enterprise integrations, portfolio governance, and large-scale transformation programs within complex enterprise environments.Key ResponsibilitiesSolution Architecture & Strategy
- Design and own end-to-end ServiceNow SPM solution architecture.
- Lead implementation across:
- Demand Management
- Project Portfolio Management (PPM)
- Resource Management
- Financial Planning & Cost Governance
- Agile & Hybrid Delivery Models
- Define future-state architecture and transformation roadmaps.
- Align ServiceNow SPM capabilities with enterprise architecture frameworks and business objectives.
- Develop architecture blueprints, design documents, and technical standards.
Client Engagement & Advisory
- Act as a trusted advisor to CXO, VP, and senior leadership stakeholders.
- Conduct workshops and discovery sessions.
- Provide strategic guidance on:
- Portfolio Prioritization
- Investment Governance
- CapEx vs OpEx Optimization
- Demand-to-Delivery Lifecycle Management
- Drive value realization and business outcome discussions.
Implementation & Delivery Leadership
- Lead end-to-end ServiceNow SPM implementation programs.
- Ensure successful delivery against project milestones, timelines, and quality standards.
- Work closely with program managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Support Agile and SAFe delivery methodologies.
- Govern solution delivery and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
Integration & Enterprise Architecture
- Architect integrations between ServiceNow and:
- SAP
- Oracle Finance
- Jira
- Azure DevOps
- Enterprise Reporting Platforms
- Design integration frameworks utilizing:
- REST APIs
- SOAP APIs
- MID Server
- Define enterprise data governance and synchronization models.
- Ensure alignment with ITSM, ITOM, and broader ServiceNow ecosystem capabilities.
Governance & Best Practices
- Establish portfolio governance frameworks and operating models.
- Define:
- Portfolio KPIs
- Executive Dashboards
- Stage Gate Governance
- Demand Intake Processes
- Approval Workflows
- Drive continuous improvement and maturity assessments.
Managed Services & Transition
- Support transition from implementation to steady-state support.
- Develop operational runbooks and governance processes.
- Define SLA and KPI frameworks.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer to support teams.
- Ensure platform scalability, performance, and reliability.
Required Skills & QualificationsMandatory Skills
- 1015 years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of ServiceNow Architecture experience.
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM/PPM).
- Experience delivering enterprise-wide digital transformation programs.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience.
- Experience working with System Integrators such as Wipro, Accenture, TCS, Infosys, HCL, Cognizant, or Capgemini.
