Role & responsibilities
Preferred candidate profile
1. Minimum 1 year of experience is required.
2. Basic knowledge of Networking at L2/L3 Managed switch as well as Linux based servers and workstations, TCP/IP Protocol suite, Ethernet, LAN topologies, traceroute, wireshark, routing protocol, SBC, Graphics boards, etc.
3. Good knowledge of Operating systems (like RHEL and windows etc.).
4. Should be able to install OS, load the application and test the system as per requirements.
5. Should be able to work on software / hardware as per requirement.
6. Understanding of document like Schematics Diagrams (SDs), BDs and wire list (WL) etc. including multilayer CPU board or equivalent, software test documents and Operator User Manuals. Basic Knowledge will be imparted during training.
7. Testing of System as per test documents provided.
8. Checking wiring, fiber / Ethernet connectivity of inter & intra nodes and repair/replacement in case of faults.
9. Should be able to understand interface & able to monitor data on standard capture tools and on proprietary BEL/OEM tools. Training on BEL/OEM tools will be provided.
10. Checking of PCBs, status, indicators and repair in case of any fault.
11. Should have the knowledge & able to operate test instruments like CRO, Multi meter, LAN tester, testing tools/ equipment etc. or as per requirement.
12. Should be able to understand interface communication data using RS232/serial, Ethernet/RJ45, OFC, E1 etc. Training on BEL/OEM tools will be provided.
