Job Summary:
Responsible for the quality products internal testing, handling the customer/client inspections & also installation, commissioning, maintenance and servicing of ESP-Industrial products & equipments. You will be responsible for leading critical service sites and therefore must have had experience in related to site & service situations. The individual must be customer focused at all times, must be prepared to work within and as part of a team, be able to interact with colleagues, management at all levels, clients and other trades in a professional and tactful manner, and in doing so present a positive image of the Company.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Good Knowledge of ESP High voltage rectifier transformer -1 Phase TR + CC, 3 Phase TR + CC, Mid frequency or High Frequency Complete Set, Retrofitting of controller & products internal quality testing.
- Creating and maintaining the Company's Quality Standards; develop, implement and maintain the Company's quality/testing related documentation, such as quality procedures, reports etc.
- Provide high level technical service support to external customers at their location.
- Install and commission Railway & Industrial products and other special products at client site.
- Develop & maintain field service technical documentation & service records.
- Analyse the root causes and implement corrective actions for processes or parts that have concerns.
- Timely and professionally handle field service calls and issues arising from the field service visits.
- Provide on-site training to the customers.
- Analyse customer warranty returns and implement corrective and preventive plans/actions.
- Provide supervisory and technical support to colleagues and communicate with staff at all levels.
- Communicate with the customer to ensure satisfaction and implement any necessary corrective actions.
- Misc. other duties commensurate with the capabilities of a Field Service Engineer.
- Interface with cross functional work teams such as field applications, customer support/services, product management, manufacturing and service/sales.
- Ensure that follow-up work requirements are referred back to enable necessary action and recommendations to clients.
- Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times, consistent with client and company expectations and in doing so help to promote the image of the Company.
- Set a good example to colleagues by observing and obeying all company rules and regulations, complying with all site regulations, and safeguarding Company property.
- Set a good example to colleagues by completing all necessary Company documentation punctually and in accordance with any guidelines or schedules issued (including Time Sheets, Staff Expense Claims, site reports, etc.).
- Attend all training courses and meetings as required by Hirect
- Provide support and co-operation to the management and to colleagues, and be prepared and willing to help and contribute to the success of the company at all times.
- Observe and adhere to company health & safety guidelines and contribute to a healthy and safe working environment.
