Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1. Repair Centre Operations

• Manage all incoming and outgoing equipment for repair.
• Ensure proper diagnosis, repair, testing, and quality checks before dispatch.
• Monitor repair turnaround time (TAT) and ensure timely closures.
• Maintain records of repaired, pending, and rejected equipment.
• Ensure compliance with company repair and quality standards.

2. Technical Troubleshooting

• Diagnose complex electronic, electrical, mechanical, and software-related issues.
• Support technicians in component-level troubleshooting.
• Analyze recurring failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with OEM technical teams for critical escalations via Email.
• Validate repair quality before product dispatch.

3. Team Supervision

• Allocate repair jobs and monitor productivity through Service ERP.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain repair history and service records.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly repair center reports.
• Track repair TAT, pending cases, and productivity metrics.
• Submit failure analysis reports for recurring issues.

Minimum Qualification

• Diploma in:
• Electronics & Communication Engineering

Experience Required

• 1-2 years of experience in technical repair and service operations.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a repair center or workshop environment.

Technical Knowledge Required Electronics

• Component-level troubleshooting.
• PCB diagnosis and repair.
• Power supply and SMPS troubleshooting.
• Analog and digital circuit understanding.
• Soldering and rework techniques.

Computer & Software

• Windows operating systems.
• Must be knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word with basic formulas and Data entry for maintaining record of repairs
