Job Summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Service Desk Engineer Monitoring & Support (Data Center) to join our Information Technology / Data Center Operations team .

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring data center infrastructure through specialized tools and providing comprehensive support to ensure uninterrupted service operations . You will serve as the essential first point of contact, managing the critical flow of information between our customers and technical teams to maintain operational continuity .

What You ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Responsibility 1: Monitor data center infrastructure using designated tools to identify and log alerts, incidents, and performance issues within the Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) system .

  • Responsibility 2: Collaborate with customers, technical teams, and management to coordinate communication and provide professional, timely updates on service resolutions .

  • Responsibility 3: Ensure compliance with data center policies, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and security protocols while maintaining accurate documentation of all interactions and actions taken .

What You ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience: Proven experience working in a high-stakes Data Center Operations or Service Desk environment .

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of infrastructure monitoring tools and Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) systems .

  • Proven Ability: Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize incidents effectively while maintaining professional communication under pressure .

  • Flexibility: Readiness to participate in essential shift rotations, including nights, weekends, and on-call duties to support 24/7 operations .
