SEO Executive On-Page

Role & responsibilities

• Audit website architecture, site structure, and internal linking to improve crawlability and indexation
• Conduct in-depth keyword research and map keywords to relevant pages based on search intent
• Optimize meta titles, meta descriptions, header tags (H1H6), URL structures, and internal linking
• Perform content gap analysis and collaborate with content teams to optimize existing and new content for SEO
• Identify and fix on-page technical issues (duplicate content, thin content, canonicalization, schema markup, etc.)
• Implement and monitor structured data / schema markup (Article, FAQ, Product, Breadcrumb, etc.)
• Improve Core Web Vitals and page experience factors in coordination with development teams
• Conduct competitor on-page analysis to identify optimization opportunities
• Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, and page-level performance using tools like Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Screaming Frog
• Prepare and present regular performance reports with actionable insights
• Stay updated with Google algorithm updates and adjust strategies accordingly
• Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented site-wide
• Guide/mentor junior SEO executives (if applicable)

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in On-Page SEO
• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and Google updates
• Proficiency with Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog and among others
• Experience with schema markup / structured data implementation
• Strong understanding of keyword research, search intent, and content optimization
• Familiarity with Core Web Vitals, page speed optimization, and mobile-first indexing
