Job Description
Plan, set up, execute, and log data for environmental test campaigns end to end, including thermal vacuum (TVAC), vibration (VIB), and electromagnetic interference/compatibility (EMI/EMC) tests on satellite hardware.
Design and develop software applications to capture and log test data.
Design and develop user interface (UI) software to view, query, and visualize logged test data.
Design and develop reporting functionality to generate test reports from logged data, including data export and import.
Drive the development and maintenance of satellite models .
Mentor and review the work of junior engineers.
Maintain accurate, traceable test records and supporting documentation, and contribute to test plans and procedures
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelors degree ( B.Tech / B.E) in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.
Masters degree in a relevant field is a plus.
Skills & Requirements
5+ years of hands-on experience in hardware/environmental testing and software development , ideally including TVAC, vibration, or EMI/EMC testing.
Strong software development experience, with the ability to design and build data logging, UI, and reporting applications. [Specify required languages / frameworks / tools.]
Solid experience with data handling, databases, and data visualization .
Experience with digital twin, simulation, or modelling work.
Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to test records and documentation.
Ability to work independently and to guide junior team members.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with space borne or satellite systems is a strong advantage.
