Duties and Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of QA Engineers, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices.
Define and implement QA strategy, test plans, test cases, and test automation frameworks.
Drive end-to-end testing activities including Functional, Integration, Regression, System, UAT, and Performance Testing.
Review business and functional requirements to identify test scope, risks, and quality objectives.
Develop and maintain Playwright automation scripts using JavaScript/TypeScript.
Write and maintain feature files and step definitions using Cucumber BDD.
Execute functional, regression, smoke and end-to-end testing.
Create and manage test cases in Azure DevOps Test Plans.
Log, track and validate defects using Azure DevOps Boards.
Generate test execution and defect reports.

Required Qualifications and Experience

5-8 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance with at least 2 years in a team lead role.
Strong experience in Test Management, Test Strategy, and Test Planning.
Hands-on experience in Test Automation using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.
Experience with API Testing tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent.
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar ALM/Test Management tools.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps Pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
Experience in automation framework design and implementation.
Strong defect management, risk assessment, and quality governance skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience in Banking, Financial Services, CRM, Loan Origination, or Enterprise Applications will be preferred.
