Senior Test Engineer

Job Summary

Lead the design, development, maintenance, and execution of automation solutions for the Life Asia application. Analyze business requirements and translate them into automated test scenarios and frameworks. Perform End-to-End (E2E) validation of Life Insurance workflows across multiple systems and channels. Develop and enhance automation scripts using industry-standard automation tools, preferably Watermelon. Validate Day 1 (New Business) and Day 2 (Servicing/Maintenance) Life Asia transactions. Execute and support API, UI, Web, and integration testing activities. Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Identify automation opportunities and drive continuous improvements in test efficiency and quality. Review automation code, mentor team members, and establish automation best practices. Support defect analysis, root cause identification, and resolution verification. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to release planning and quality assurance activities.

Required Skills

• Strong Life Insurance domain knowledge with hands-on End-to-End testing experience.
• Expertise in Life Asia insurance application processes and transactions.
• Experience in test automation framework development and maintenance.
• Knowledge of API testing and Web/UI testing methodologies.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Overall 10+ years of experience in the Life Insurance domain.
• Extensive experience in End-to-End testing across insurance applications.
• Strong understanding of Life Asia Day 1 and Day 2 transactions.
• Hands-on experience in automation development using Watermelon (preferred).
• Experience in Web Application and UI testing.
• Experience in API testing and integration validation.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery models.
• Experience in mentoring automation engineers and leading automation initiatives.
