Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable, and robust automated UI test scripts using Python and the Pytest-Playwright plugin.
• Framework Maintenance: Learn, apply, and maintain established design patterns like the Page Object Model (POM).
• Cross-Browser Validation: Configure and execute cross-browser testing across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit engines.
• API Testing: Implement functional validation for backend REST APIs using Python requests or Playwright API testing capabilities.
• Execution Support: Run and analyze automated daily smoke, sanity, regression, and end-to-end (E2E) testing suites.
• Defect Management: Identify, reproduce, isolate, and log software defects clearly inside tracking systems like Jira.
• CI/CD Integration: Assist with running automated test suites inside continuous integration environments such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
