Job Summary

Senior Cloud Consultant with focus on Security, you will be responsible for delivering cloud native solution designs and architectures for key global initiatives based on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Stack IaaS and PaaS hosting models. Your commitment to continuous learning will be evident as you expand your application knowledge. Additionally, you'll contribute to projects throughout their lifecycles, actively seeking opportunities for efficiency improvements. Responsibilities

• Create and review architecture and solution design, focusing on public cloud.
• Ensure design based on Security Principles and best practices.
• Act as a technical architecture expert for internal teams.
• Implement security strategies on cloud resources and ensure compliance.
• Enforce adherence to architectural standards and guidelines.
• Provide guidance on engineering methodologies and leading practices.
• Support design and implementation in Public Cloud (Azure, Google Cloud).
• Maintain and improve public cloud consultation documentation and processes.
• Assist onboarding teams with technical proposals and cost estimation.

Analytical Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and reliable solutions.
• Compare architectural options and propose actionable plans.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
• Balance strategic goals with practical implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalency (CS, CE, CIS, IS, MIS, or engineering discipline) or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 12+ years overall IT industry experience.
• Experience in architecting and designing technical solutions for Microsoft- or Google-centric solutions based on Azure and Google IaaS, PaaS and SaaS capabilities; main focus on secure solutions.
• Excellent technical cloud solutions architecture skills, enabling the creation of future-proof, complex global solutions.
• Excellent knowledge on Cloud security assessment using cloud security posture management tools like Prisma CSPM and CWPP.
• Awareness of industry standard compliance requirements like ISO 27001, GDPR etc.
• Must have knowledge and hands-on experience in Kubernetes, cloud workloads.
• Must have knowledge and hands-on experience in Azure, Google SQL and NoSQL Databases.
• Must have knowledge and hands-on experience in Azure PaaS solutions.
• Must have knowledge and hands-on experience Azure IaaS Solutions (Virtual machines).
• Hands on experience using Agile, ITIL tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Experience with public cloud cost calculator and deriving high-level cost estimations for given cloud-based solutions.
• Nice to have Unix and middleware skills (for example, IBM MQ).

• Responsibilities for this role include advising stakeholders and translating business requirements into designs for secure, scalable, and reliable Azure, Google solutions.
• Considers the art of the possible, compares various architectural options based on feasibility and impact, and especially security requirements.

• Ability to analyze and operate at various levels of abstraction.
• Ability to balance what is strategically right with what is practically realistic.

Preferred Certifications

• Azure or Google Architect.
• Azure or Google Security Expert.

Additional Preferred Skills

• Cloud Automation Experience (Terraform, Ansible).
• Familiarity with Cloud Network Set-Ups.
