Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Test Engineer with extensive experience in automation and platform quality to develop scalable test automation frameworks and ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of enterprise-level distributed systems. The role focuses on automation, CI/CD-integrated testing, performance validation, system reliability, and quality governance across frontend, backend, APIs, and enterprise platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable automated testing frameworks across UI, API, and backend layers. Establish and maintain CI/CD-integrated test pipelines for continuous validation and rapid feedback.
- Define automation standards, testing best practices, and test data management strategies.
- Own and enhance regression, integration, and end-to-end automation test suites.
- Ensure reliability of distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and asynchronous workflows.
- Perform performance, scalability, resilience, security, compliance, and audit validation testing.
- Conduct defect root-cause analysis and drive continuous quality improvements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to promote shift-left testing practices.
- Define quality KPIs, test coverage benchmarks, and release readiness criteria.
- Validate observability and monitoring capabilities as part of release cycles
- Act as the quality gatekeeper before production deployments and contribute to long-term quality engineering initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
- 7+ years of software testing experience with a strong focus on test automation.
- Hands-on expertise with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and REST Assured.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, k6, or Gatling.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps-integrated testing practices.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar programming languages.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and system analysis skills.
Preferred / Additional Qualifications
- Experience testing enterprise-grade distributed systems.
- Background in financial services or other regulated environments.
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.
