Senior Test Engineer

Job Summary

Looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong Core Java, Selenium, and Rest API skills.

Years of experience needed: 6-8 years.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently design, develop & enhance test automation scripts/framework.
• Ability to conduct root cause analysis.
• Collaborating with QA Analysts and Software Developers to develop solutions.
• Work closely with the team to ensure script implementation complies with best practices and testability requirements.
• Work closely with software developers and test engineers to understand software workflows, use cases and specifications in creating automated tests across the application.
• Expand automation framework to provide additional test capabilities. Analyze existing systems to find areas for improvement.
• Actively participate in an agile development process.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Strong in Core Java and Selenium.
• Experience in REST API Automation Testing.
• Playwright/Cypress experience is a must.
• Good Knowledge in AWS Services (EC2, S3, Cloud Watch, Lambda, etc.).
• Hands-on experience in Java concepts and programming.
• Capabilities to develop small utility tools in JAVA.
• Experience in Developing Automation framework.
• Experience in BDD and TestNG.
• Good knowledge of automated testing processes, methodologies and software development lifecycles, and good knowledge on data Structures and algorithms.
• Experience within an Agile/Scrum/Kanban environment.
• Experience with Jira & ALM.
• Good knowledge of database/SQL queries.
