Senior API Automation Engineer (Rest Assured)
We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience specializing in API test automation using Rest Assured.
Key Responsibilities
- API Automation: Design, build, and maintain automated API test scripts using Rest Assured (Java) to test microservices and RESTful endpoints.
- Test Governance: Partner with Quality Leads to establish test strategies, quality gates, risk assessments, and production sign-offs.
- CI/CD Integration: Plug automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI) for continuous testing.
- Metrics & Reporting: Define testing KPIs and maintain quality dashboards in Power BI.
- Framework & ROI: Own automation tools, maintain standards, conduct automation audits, and evaluate ROI.
- Gen AI Innovation: Use Generative AI tools to optimize test case creation, test data generation, and automation workflows.
