Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end implementation and transformation projects using (TCS BaNCS for Health Insurance)
- Drive solution architecture, product configuration, customization, and integration activities
- Manage core insurance modules including:
- Policy Administration
- Claims Management & Adjudication
- Underwriting
- Billing & Collections
- Provider Network Management
- Member Enrollment
- Reinsurance
- Work closely with business stakeholders to define enterprise-level insurance solutions
- Lead requirement gathering workshops and convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Provide architectural guidance for API, middleware, and third-party integrations
- Manage modernization, migration, and digital transformation initiatives
- Lead onsite/offshore delivery teams and ensure successful project execution
- Oversee production support, release management, performance optimization, and incident resolution
- Ensure compliance with healthcare and insurance regulatory standards
- Mentor junior consultants, developers, and business analysts
- Support pre-sales, solution estimation, RFP responses, and client presentations
Required Skills
- 18+ years of IT experience with strong expertise in TCS BaNCS Insurance Platform
- Minimum 8+ years in Health Insurance domain
- Extensive experience in:
- Policy Administration Systems
- Claims Processing & Adjudication
- Provider Management
- Enrollment & Billing
- Product Configuration
- Insurance Accounting
- Strong understanding of Health Insurance business processes
- Experience in enterprise architecture and system integration
- Hands-on experience with: Java/J2EE, Oracle/SQL, REST/SOAP APIs, Unix/Linux
- Experience managing large implementation/support programs
- Strong stakeholder and client management skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in cloud-native insurance transformation programs
- Knowledge of microservices and event-driven architecture
- Exposure to digital health insurance ecosystems
- Agile/Scrum and DevOps exposure
- Experience working with global insurance clients
- Knowledge of IRDA, healthcare compliance, and insurance regulations
- Experience in performance tuning and production stabilization
Leadership Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams across development, QA, business analysis, and production support
- Drive governance, delivery planning, and risk management
- Conduct architecture reviews and solution design discussion
- Support organizational capability building in TCS BaNCS Health Insurance
- Collaborate with enterprise architects and business leadership teams
