Senior System Administrator - T24

Skill: System Administration, ITIL,TDH, DW Export, Incident Management, Change management, configuration, servers / database installation and support.

Responsibilities -

• Supports the Application Management by performing tasks on Temenos T24 TAFJ & related applications in multiple environments
• Able to perform management of specific tasks on other Financial Services applications, including tasks related to change management, release management, and incident management.
• Provides server maintenance in command line operations for non windows operating system environments (based experience in either Linux, Unix, AIX)
• Administers web server operations (based on experience in either WebSphere)
• Leads the creation of service level objectives and reporting as required
• Provides standard infrastructure operations including service management, incident management, change management, and problem management.
• Supports and provides guidance to desktop support analysts on issues related to Temenos T24 desktop application, servers and/or storage.
• Deploys configuration changes and code upgrades including TAFJ, T24 Browser and Core updates & releases
• Works with hosting provider on infrastructure management (Websphere, AIX, Oracle, Windows, Virtualization, JAVA)
• Performance tuning and results experienced, always part of the conversation
• Log analysis and management
• Performs tasks to establish and monitor key performance indicators, taking effective action where results are below SLA targets
• Ensures that effective ITIL-based best practices are maintained for interactions with support vendors
• Ability to support 24/7 production systems. Works off standard hours as part of team to provide daily weekday coverage and 24 hour on call availability Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent.

Technical experience -

• Related work experience role in a 24x7 operating environment
• Experience applying ITIL best practices is preferred.
• Should have experience with Temenos T24, Temenos technical solutions like TDH, DW Export.
• Experience working on AIX, Websphere, Virtualization, JAVA, Oracle.
• Senior level experience with web servers/ database installation and support.
• Experience managing or delivering I.T. services and operations within outsourced services environment.
