Senior Software Engineer, OS and Platform Senior Software Engineer, OS and Platform OD- 3311- 1 VACANCY DETAILS OD- 3311- 1 Senior Software Engineer, OS and Platform VPU Engineering Manager Job Description REQUIRED: BS/ MSCS or equivalent, with 4- 5 years of experience in telecom products based on Linux OS Experience supporting applications and application servers (on Intel based servers) Excellent programming skills in C and C++; familiarity with OOPS concepts Proficient in AC E, Linux Kernel, DB. Linux OS management skills (real- time and multi- threaded) Expertise in Linux kernel boot up. Expertise in memory management and IPC mechanism. Experience in integrating debugging/ profiling tools with OS. Good verbal and written communication skills; the ability to deal with customers and vendors. Experience with the full software development lifecycle, design, develop, debug, document, and deliver. DESIREABLE: Proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio (C++) and Eclipse (C++/ CDT) development environments Exposure to testing, scripting (e.g. Perl, Python) and test automation PHP programming skills will be added advantage. Involvement in standardization of a developed technology.
