Senior Software Engineer (MERN)

• We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer (MERN)*to join our dynamic development team in Chennai
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Nodejs, Reactjs, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and AWS, with a passion for building scalable, high-performance web applications*in a microservices environment

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications*using the MERN stack*(MongoDB/PostgreSQL, Expressjs, Reactjs, Nodejs)
• Write clean, efficient, and we'll-documented code following best practices and coding standards
• Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making
• Develop and maintain microservices*and ensure seamless communication across services
• Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and QA engineers*to deliver high-quality solutions on time
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure
• Perform code reviews, provide technical mentorship, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and integrate relevant tools and frameworks to enhance development productivity

Required Skills & Qualifications

• bachelors/masters degree*in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience*in full-stack web development, with a focus on the MERN stack
• Strong proficiency in Nodejs, Reactjs, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture*and RESTful APIs
• Experience working with AWS services*(EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, etc)
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment best practices
• Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an agile/Scrum*environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NestJS, Nextjs, or serverless frameworks
• Exposure to GraphQL, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), or real-time data streaming
• Familiarity with testing frameworks*like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress
• Contributions to open-source projects or community involvement is a plus
