Senior Software Engineer

An RHPAM OpenShift Support Engineer is responsible for deploying, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing Red Hat Process Automation Manager (RHPAM) applications running on OpenShift (Kubernetes platform).

This role sits at the intersection of:

• Middleware (RHPAM / KIE Server / Business Central)
• Container platforms (OpenShift / Kubernetes)
• DevOps practices
• Enterprise workflow automation (BPM, DMN, Rules Engine)

• Monitor RHPAM applications on OpenShift
• Ensure:
  • High availability
  • Performance stability
• Perform:
  • Health checks
  • Capacity planning

• Deploy RHPAM components:
  • KIE Server
  • Business Central
• Configure:
  • OpenShift templates / Operators
  • Environment variables
  • Secrets and ConfigMaps

• Diagnose:
  • Pod crashes / restarts
  • Memory/CPU issues
  • Integration failures
• Analyze:
  • Application logs
  • OpenShift events
• Resolve:
  • Deployment failures
  • Process execution errors

• Support build/deploy pipelines
• Automate:
  • Application deployments
  • Rollbacks
• Validate releases across environments

• Strong understanding of:
  • Business Process Management
  • Decision Models (DMN)
  • Drools Rules Engine
• Hands-on with:
  • KIE Server
  • Business Central
• Knowledge of:
  • Case management
  • Process deployment and monitoring

• Experience with:
  • Pods, Deployments, StatefulSets
