Senior Software Developer - Voice AI & LLM Systems (5-8 yrs)

Tech Stack :

- Python, FastAPI/Flask, Voice AI, STT/TTS, LLMs, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, Docker, CI/CD.

ABOUT THE ROLE :

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer with hands-on experience in building and deploying production-grade Voice AI Agents.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in :

- Speech-to-Text (STT) & Text-to-Speech (TTS).

- Real-time conversational AI systems.

- LLMs, RAG & AI Agents.

- Voice orchestration & low-latency systems.

- Telephony and web-based voice applications.

You will work on scalable AI-native voice products involving intelligent automation, conversational workflows, and enterprise-grade Voice AI systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Build and deploy scalable Voice AI systems and backend services.

- Design real-time conversational pipelines using STT, TTS, LLMs, and AI agents.

- Work on :

1. Streaming vs batch STT.

2. Interruption handling / barge-in.

3. Low-latency voice systems.

4. Telephony and web voice integrations.

5. Async orchestration workflows.

6. Conversation memory/context strategies.

7. Agent framework orchestration.

- Develop APIs using FastAPI or Flask.

- Design RAG pipelines, prompt orchestration, and conversational workflows.

- Implement evaluation and observability layers including :

1. Tracing & monitoring.

2. Prompt/version evaluation.

3. Hallucination monitoring.

4. Call analytics.

5. Voice quality metrics.

6. Conversation QA.

7. Fallback and recovery systems.

- Optimize scalability, reliability, and performance of Voice AI systems.

- Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering best practices.

REQUIREMENTS :

Must-Have :

- 5+ years of backend development experience in Python.

- Proven experience deploying Voice AI Agents in production.

- Strong expertise in STT, TTS, LLM integrations, and conversational AI systems.

- Experience with FastAPI or Flask.

- Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or similar LLM platforms.

- Strong understanding of RAG, prompt engineering, memory handling, and AI agents.

- Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, Docker, and CI/CD.

- Strong system design and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with Twilio, Vobiz, Exotel, SIP, or telephony systems.

- Familiarity with vector databases and WebSockets.

- Experience with observability/monitoring tools.

- Exposure to BFSI or enterprise automation domains.
