Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Azure) - S

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable Azure-based infrastructure.
• Drive reliability engineering practices to improve system stability, uptime, and performance.
• Build and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
• Implement automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, deployments, and operational tasks.
• Manage incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and post-incident reviews.
• Define and monitor Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Improve platform resilience through proactive capacity planning, performance tuning, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance application reliability and deployment processes.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, operational procedures, and technical documentation.
• Implement security best practices and operational governance controls.
• Support production releases and troubleshoot critical application and infrastructure issues.
• Participate in on-call support rotations and major incident management activities.
• Promote a culture of automation, reliability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Operations.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong understanding of SRE principles, reliability engineering, and operational excellence.
• Experience with Azure services including:
• Azure Virtual Machines
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Azure App Services
• Azure Storage Accounts
• Azure Load Balancer
• Azure Application Gateway
• Azure Monitor
• Log Analytics
• Azure Key Vault
• Azure Networking Services
• Experience with infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
• Experience managing containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using:
• PowerShell
• Python
• Bash
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance analysis skills.
• Good understanding of cloud security, networking, and identity management.
