Senior Security Engineer

Role Overview : -

• The Senior Security Engineer will serve as a key technical leader responsible for establishing, designing, and validating enterprise security standards across Inmars global office footprint, with a strong focus on endpoint, network, wireless, and infrastructure hardening.
• This role is highly hands-on and engineer focused, bridging U.S.-based security engineering practices with remote international offices to ensure consistent security baselines, control maturity, and compliance with enterprise standards.
• The engineer will assess, remediate, and elevate the security posture of remote locations.
• The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in endpoint and network security with the ability to operate independently in complex or constrained environments.
• This role requires both strategic and tactical execution, including architecture validation, onsite assessments, hardening implementations, auditing, incident response support, and operational security enablement.
• This position requires close partnership with global IT, infrastructure, networking, cloud, and security operations teams to drive standardized, scalable, and measurable security outcomes across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities : -

1. Endpoint Security & Hardening

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise endpoint hardening standards across Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile platforms
• Develop and enforce secure baseline configurations aligned to CIS, NIST, and organizational standards
• Validate endpoint compliance and configuration drift across global offices
• Lead remediation efforts for insecure or unmanaged systems in newly integrated or undersecured environments
• Partner with IT teams to operationalize scalable endpoint security controls in bandwidth- or infrastructure-constrained locations

2. Network Security & Infrastructure Hardening

• Design secure network architectures and baseline configurations for enterprise and remote office environments
• Design and communicate hardened configurations for firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, NAC solutions, and wireless infrastructure
• Establish and validate Network segmentation
• Conduct network security assessments and identify gaps in remote office implementations
• Improve visibility and monitoring across distributed network environments
• Support secure expansion or onboarding of new office locations or technology

3. Global Security Standards & Remote Office Enablement

• Act as the primary technical liaison between U.S. security engineering teams and India offices
• Ensure remote locations achieve and maintain parity with enterprise security standards and hardening baselines
• Develop repeatable deployment standards and operational procedures for New office security buildouts, endpoint onboarding, secure wireless deployments, network infrastructure hardening
• Identify regional or operational constraints impacting security control deployment and engineer scalable compensating controls
• Support security readiness initiatives for acquisitions, office expansions, or rapidly scaling locations
• Improve enterprise telemetry, logging, and asset visibility
• Perform technical security validations and control effectiveness testing
• Serve as a local coordinator for security program functions as required

Required Qualifications : -

• 7-10+ years of experience in security engineering, infrastructure security, endpoint security, or network security engineering
• Strong hands-on experience implementing and managing endpoint hardening standards in enterprise environments
• Communicate security risks, remediation strategies, and operational priorities to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Deep expertise in:

• Endpoint security controls
• Network security architecture

• Secure remote connectivity

• Experience securing distributed or international office environments
• Proven experience improving security posture in environments with limited existing controls or operational maturity

• Windows, macOS, and Linux hardening
• Group Policy / MDM platforms
• Firewall/ VPN administration
• NAC solutions and Network segmentation
• Secure Wi-Fi deployments
• Experience deploying and tuning:
• EDR/XDR platforms
• Vulnerability management platforms
• IDS/IPS technologies
• NIST/ CIS Benchmarks
• Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar languages
• Knowledge of IAM concepts (MFA, SSO, RBAC)
• Strong troubleshooting and operational problem-solving skills in complex distributed environments

Preferred Qualifications : -

• Automating endpoint and infrastructure security configurations using scripting and configuration management tools
• Developing scalable deployment methods for hardening standards and security baselines
• Improving operational efficiency through automation of compliance validation, asset discovery, configuration auditing, remediation workflows
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship on hardening standards and secure configuration practices
• Security certifications such as:
• CISSP
• GIAC certifications
• CCNP Security
• Exposure to cloud security and hybrid infrastructure environments
