Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer with more than 10 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, strong expertise in Agentforce, Data Cloud, and Sales Cloud, and a proven ability to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
This role will design, build, and optimize complex Salesforce applications, integrations, and automations supporting customer engagement, data unification, and sales productivity. The ideal candidate is an expert-level developer who collaborates closely with Product Owners, Architects, Admins, and cross-functional business teams to translate requirements into robust and innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Salesforce Development & Customization
Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality customizations using Apex Classes, Apex Triggers, Batch Apex, Future Methods, Queueables, and Integration Apex.
Build custom LWC components for dynamic UI experiences in Sales Cloud, Agentforce, and custom applications.
Enhance and optimize Agentforce (Service Console & Omni-Channel) features including routing, macros, screen flows, and productivity tools.
Develop, optimize, and automate data flows using Salesforce Data Cloud including:
Data streams
Data transformations
Unified profiles
Identity resolution
Activation targets
Build scalable business logic using Flows, Process Builder, and declarative automation aligned with Salesforce best practices.
2. System Architecture & Solution Design
Collaborate with Salesforce Architects on end-to-end solution design, data modeling, and integration patterns.
Recommend scalable, future-proof architecture for migrations, integrations, and high-volume data processing.
Lead technical grooming sessions and provide level-of-effort estimates for development work.
Ensure solutions are aligned with Salesforce platform limits, best practices, and enterprise security guidelines.
3. Integration, API Development & Data Management
Design and build integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and middleware such as MuleSoft, Informatica, or Boomi.
Build real-time and batch integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
Implement Data Cloud-to-Salesforce activation, customer 360 mapping, and unified data strategies.
Manage complex data transformations, deduplication, and synchronization pipelines.
4. Technical Leadership & Collaboration
Act as a technical SME for Salesforce technologies, guiding developers and admins across the organization.
Partner with Product Managers, BAs, and cross-functional stakeholders to refine requirements and propose technical solutions.
Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers.
Collaborate with QA teams to create test strategies, support system testing, regression testing, and UAT.
5. Maintenance, Optimization & Deployment
Manage release pipelines using SFDX, Git, CI/CD, and DevOps tools such as GitHub Actions, Copado, or Azure DevOps.
Diagnose and resolve complex system issues, performance problems, and data inconsistencies.
Maintain documentation on system design, configurations, customizations, and integrations.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in enterprise environments.
Strong experience with Agentforce / Service Cloud, including Omni-Channel, Console customizations, case management, and agent productivity tools.
Direct experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (Customer Data Platform) building data streams, identity resolution, profile unification, and data activation.
Extensive Sales Cloud experience, including opportunity management, forecasting, quoting, territory management, and custom automation.
Expert-level proficiency in:
Apex (triggers, batch, queueable, scheduled)
Lightning Web Components (LWC)
SOQL/SOSL
Platform Events
Salesforce Flows
Strong understanding of API integrations, event-driven architecture, and data modeling.
Experience with Git-based version control, Salesforce DX, and CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Required Certifications
At least 3+ Salesforce certifications, including:
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (required)
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (strongly preferred)
Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant (preferred)
Sales Cloud Consultant (preferred)
Service Cloud Consultant (optional but valuable)
Any additional Architect or Specialist certs are a plus.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Einstein Bots, Einstein Studio, or AI-enabled flows.
Experience with Contact Center solutions, telephony integration, or digital engagement.
Background in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Experience working closely with offshore development teams.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
