Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Design & Hands-on Development
End-to-End Delivery: Architect and build scalable Salesforce CRM solutions utilizing a balance of declarative configuration (Flows, Validation Rules, Security Models) and custom programmatic development (Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Asynchronous Apex).
Technical Leadership: Serve as the subject matter expert on Salesforce capabilities, ensuring custom code is only introduced when standard out-of-the-box functionality is exhausted.
Code Quality: Maintain a high standard of code quality through comprehensive unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to Salesforce development best practices.
2. Integration & Data Architecture
System Integration: Design, develop, and maintain secure, reliable integrations between Salesforce and external business systems (ERP, Marketing Automation, billing endpoints) using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware (MuleSoft/Boomi), or event-driven architectures.
Data Integrity: Define and implement clean data models, object relationships, and data flows that minimize latency, prevent duplication, and preserve data governance.
3. Release Management & DevOps
CI/CD Pipeline Management: Establish, optimize, and enforce reliable release practices using modern DevOps tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset, Flosum, or GitHub Actions with Salesforce CLI).
Environment Strategy: Oversee sandbox management, branching strategies, and deployment tracking to ensure seamless, conflict-free production releases.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Requirements
Salesforce Expertise: Minimum of 57+ years of hands-on development experience on the Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud).
Advanced Coding: Strong proficiency in Apex (triggers, batches, integrations), LWC (Lightning Web Components), and Visualforce.
Integration Frameworks: Proven experience building custom REST and SOAP APIs, handling JSON/XML payloads, and managing authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0).
Data Tools: Solid understanding of SOQL/SOSL, data loading tools (Data Loader, Workbench), and large data volume (LDV) best practices.
DevOps Literacy: Hands-on experience with Git-based version control and automated deployment pipelines.
Professional Attributes
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical architectures into digestible concepts for business stakeholders.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex performance bottlenecks or data synchronization issues.
