Senior Research Engineer

• As a software developer, she/he will work on new feature development of different regional TV interactive middleware specification, chromium web-engine upstream code migration to webOS TV, stabilize and deploy the TV interactive middleware stack and chromium web-engine stack across different regions in collaboration with the SoC vendors for the webOS TV Platform to comply with the development schedule and robust quality.
• In this role, developer will work independently with little supervision.
• The developer will require the necessary skills in excellent organization and problem-solving.
• The manager requires to have hands-on experience in software development and agile methodologies. Her/his goal will be to develop high-quality software aligned with our needs and business goals.
• The focus of the job is to derive software requirements, development, unit testing, integration/system testing on operational and technical projects.
• Collaborate with different stakeholders and right to own the module responsibility

• Developer will develop high quality software which is robust and efficient based on understanding the overall webOS TV Browser engine, TV interactive middleware (HbbTV, GINGA, ATSC3.0 etc.) receiver stack software architecture.
• As a developer, she/he will ensure software deliverables meet agreed-upon milestones and pre-established quality metrics.
• As a developer, responsible and adhere to SW engineering project schedules, task priorities for on-time SW deliverables and milestones.
• Design, development, testing, and maintenance of the webOS TV Browser engine, TV interactive middleware (HbbTV, GINGA, ATSC3.0 etc.) receiver stack software to a level that meets or exceeds the SW quality expectations of the webOS Platform
• Ensuring that the code is written in a manner that is easily understood, is well documented, and follows department standards for writing code.
• Adhering to agile process and methodologies as defined by the hiring department.
