Senior Quality Control Executive

Role Summary

The Senior Executive Quality Control will handle analytical testing and method development at the Head Office QC laboratory, with hands-on expertise in GC-MS and LC. The role requires developing and validating chromatographic methods for specialty chemical raw materials and finished products, and interpreting analytical data to support quality release decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Method Development & Analysis

• Develop, optimize, and validate GC-MS and LC methods for raw materials, intermediates, and finished specialty chemical products.
• Conduct routine and non-routine sample analysis, troubleshooting instrument and method issues as they arise.
• Interpret chromatographic data accurately to support quality and release decisions; investigate out-of-specification results with sound root-cause analysis.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain method protocols, validation reports, SOPs, and test records in line with quality standards.
• Maintain calibration and maintenance records for GC-MS, LC, and related instruments.
• Report results and quality concerns promptly to the QC/QA Head or Manager, and support audits with accurate documentation.

Qualifications, Skills & Competencies

• M.Sc. in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5–8 years of hands-on QC experience with demonstrated expertise in GC-MS and LC method development, validation, and data interpretation.
• Prior experience in the specialty chemicals industry is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Gujarati and English is mandatory; strong attention to detail and good documentation practices.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and chromatography data software; willingness to work extended hours during critical testing periods.

Work Conditions

This is a laboratory-based role at the Head Office in Vadodara, Gujarat, requiring minimal travel and occasional extended hours during critical testing cycles.
