Role Overview

We're building an enterprise-grade, multi-tenant SaaS platform for the fleet and transport industry, and we need someone who can catch what breaks before a customer does — not just execute a test script someone else wrote, but think adversarially about a data-heavy, multi-tenant system with real-time tracking data.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans for backend APIs, frontend dashboards, and integration points
• Own test automation strategy — build and maintain automated test suites, not rely solely on manual regression
• Test multi-tenant data isolation specifically — a bug here isn't cosmetic, it's a data leak between customers
• Conduct API testing (Postman/similar) alongside UI testing
• Work directly with the Solutions Architect and developers to define acceptance criteria before code is written, not just after
• Own bug triage and severity classification — help the team prioritize what actually matters
• Build and maintain CI-integrated automated test pipelines
• Perform load/performance testing for a system that needs to handle real-time fleet data at scale

Required Experience

• 5–8 years in QA/Test Engineering, with demonstrated ownership of test strategy for a SaaS or multi-tenant product (not just manual test-case execution)
• Experience testing systems with real-time or high-volume data (relevant given fleet/GPS tracking data streams)

Required Skills

• Manual and automated testing (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent)
• API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent)
• Test case design, test plan documentation
• Bug tracking tools (JIRA or equivalent)
• Basic SQL for data validation
• CI/CD-integrated testing (tests running as part of the pipeline, not just run manually before release)

Preferred Skills

• Performance/load testing (JMeter, k6, or equivalent)
• Experience testing multi-tenant SaaS systems specifically
• Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes environments for test environment management
• Prior experience in telematics, IoT, or logistics domains
