Senior Python Lead Developer with more than 8 years of hands on experience in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade Python applications.
Strong independent decision-making ability, deep technical expertise, and end to end delivery ownership are essential.
Core Responsibilities
Lead architecture, design, and full lifecycle development of complex Python applications.
Independently interpret requirements, define solution approaches, and deliver scalable, production ready implementations.
Build enterprise applications using strong Python fundamentals, patterns, and development best practices.
Develop high performance REST APIs using FastAPI and Flask.
Implement computation heavy logic using libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, SciPy, CVXR, and other scientific/analytical tools.
Apply modular design, optimized coding practices, error handling, logging, and complete unit test coverage.
Design and manage scheduled jobs and cloud-native workflows.
Architect and deploy Python applications on AWS, including experience with:
o Lambda, Lambda Layers
o S3, Glue
o EventBridge, S3 Notifications
o IAM roles & policies
o CloudFront and other related services
Work with SQL databases data modeling, complex query writing, performance tuning, and integrating data persistence with Python applications.
Apply foundational Infrastructure as Code concepts using Terraform to define and manage cloud resources.
Drive code reviews, mentor team members, and ensure adherence to development standards and engineering excellence.
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of strong Python application development experience.
Strong architectural and independent decision making capability.
Hands on expertise with FastAPI, Flask, and scalable service-oriented application development.
Deep understanding of Python best practices, performance optimization, and design principles.
Experience with scientific libraries for computation, analytics, and problem solving.
Solid AWS cloud development knowledge, including hosting, serverless development, storage, and event-driven workflows.
Strong SQL expertise with real-world data modeling and query development.
Exposure to IaC concepts using Terraform.
Strong analytical, scenario-based problem solving, and ability to deliver high quality solutions independently.
