Senior Python Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, Fast API, MongoDB, cloud technologies, and containerized deployments. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services, integrating with modern frontend applications, and ensuring high performance, security, and reliability of enterprise applications. The role requires hands-on experience in modern software development practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, cloud platforms, and Agile delivery methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable backend services using Python 3.x and Fast API.
• Design and optimize MongoDB data models, queries, and database performance.
• Build and maintain secure, high-performance RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to integrate backend services with ReactJS applications.
• Implement asynchronous processing using async/await patterns.
• Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Implement automated testing frameworks and ensure code quality through unit and integration testing.
• Monitor applications, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize system performance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.
• Follow Agile/Scrum practices and actively participate in sprint ceremonies.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software development using Python.
• Strong expertise in Python 3.x and Fast API Web Framework.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB, including:
  • Data Modeling
  • Query Optimization
  • Indexing & Performance Tuning
• Strong understanding of Asynchronous Programming (async/await).
• Experience with Git and GitHub version control.
• Expertise in CI/CD Pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
• Experience working with Cloud Platforms (GCP Preferred).
• Experience with PyTest and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of logging, monitoring, debugging, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
