Senior Python Developer

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with 5-7 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications and data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Python, Django, SQL, and data analysis libraries such as NumPy and Pandas. The role requires working closely with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality, efficient, and scalable applications.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Python and Django.
2. Build robust backend services, APIs, and web applications to support business requirements.
3. Develop and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures using SQL.
4. Utilize NumPy and Pandas for data processing, analysis, transformation, and reporting tasks.
5. Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and frontend developers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
6. Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.
7. Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability across various environments.
8. Conduct code reviews, identify improvement opportunities, and mentor junior team members.
9. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.
10. Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, estimations, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
2. 5-7 years of experience in Python application development.
3. Strong proficiency in Python programming and object-oriented design principles.
4. Hands-on experience with Django framework and REST API development.
5. Strong knowledge of SQL, database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
6. Practical experience with NumPy and Pandas for data manipulation and analysis.
7. Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.
8. Understanding of software development lifecycle, version control systems (Git), and testing frameworks.
9. Familiarity with cloud platforms, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment practices is preferred.
10. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
