Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications and services. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in Python, experience with web frameworks, databases, APIs, and a passion for writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy Python-based applications.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver software solutions.
- Write reusable, scalable, and efficient code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Integrate third-party services and APIs.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Work with databases and data processing pipelines.
- Ensure application security, reliability, and scalability.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Experience with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and web services.
- Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
- Familiarity with Git version control.
- Understanding of OOP, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (PyTest, Unittest).
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
- Experience with machine learning or data engineering projects (optional).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant professional experience in Python development.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
